Definition
The parts of a condominium owned in shares by all unit owners rather than by any one owner — typically the land, structure, roofs, exterior walls, hallways, parking areas, and shared systems.
The master deed defines exactly what is common. Some areas are limited common elements reserved for one or a few units.
